Stories of MTTC

Today first session was handled by our Principal Sir.Sir discussed with us about our  induction programs and about the micro teaching templates. Then sir also mentioned about the importance of having a five subject notebook. Second hour was optional hour by Meekha ma'am.The assignment presentation also done by kavya. Third hour taught by Ancy Ma'am about the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of adolescence.Thus the day ends.   As the month of January ends..bye to January.. waiting for next month with new responsibilities and works.

 Today the class started with the hour of Joju Sir. Sir taught us about audio visual aids.It was a well interactive session..                      Then we  have the class of Ancy Ma'am. Ma'am taught us about physical,social, emotional and intellectual development of a child during later childhood (6-12 yrs) and about role of parents and teachers in the development of a child. The last hour was optional by Meekha ma'am and presentation of seminar by Keerthi.

               Again back to the mode of online classes.As the covid cases are increasing the students requested to convert the classes to online. As per their request the mode of classes changed to online.                    Today class begin with  optional hour by Meekha ma'am thereby the presentation of reading and reflection by Athira. Then Arsha presented seminar on the topic language teacher    competencies.It was presented in a interesting manner and she suggested the book for all of us to read. The next hour was taught by Gibi ma'am and was very informative.Then Ma'am divided the portion for assignment and seminar among all optionals. The last hour was taught by Maya ma'am  about  methods of teaching idealism, role of teacher in idealism, discipline in idealism and limitations of idealism.It was interesting and informative.Thus another day ends...

Today's first session was taken by George Thomas sir. Sir explained us how to prepare a health chart and asked us to prepare it. Sir also taught us how to calculate height, weight, BMI, waist-hip ratio etc. A new informative session. The second hour was optional dealt by Sathyalekha teacher.She  taught us about Micro teaching, a very interactive class. The last session was handled by our principal Benedict Sir. He taught about the phases of teaching and basic teaching model.He also discussed about the portions and where we reached in each papers.

Today first hour was taught by Maya teacher about the  schools of philosophy which is related to different thoughts. It's characteristics , aims and applications in educational aspects and then about idealism, it's characteristics and aims in education. It is based on truth, beauty and goodness. Idealism mainly focus on the welfare of the individual and for the good of the society.     Then the second hour was taught by Gibi teacher about  the various scope of educational psychology. In that we had come across two variables of educational psychology and they are learning process and learning method. She then slightly discussed about the cognitive learning and the related theories formulated by Piaget, Bruner and Gagne. Then the last hour was optional dealt by Sathyalekha teacher. She taught about skills in brief and then said to continue it in next class.Thus it was a wonderful day....

Today first hour we have technology class by Revathy teacher.Teacher taught us about mobile learning, podcasts, vodcast and web learning and its scope in education. She was such an interactive and informative teacher, all of us shared our valuable comments about the class. Joju Sir also shared his opinion about the class. Then shabana teacher taught us about national integration and various factors influencing the integrity of people in a nation. Then the last hour was taught by Sathyalekha teacher as the continuation of previous class about the Erickson's theory..

Today the first hour was psychology by Ancy teacher..Sathyalekha teacher taught us about Eriksons theory of psycho-social development.               The class was taken in a discussion mode. Various titles related to Social development and stages of development in children's were discussed during the session.Stage 1- Trust vs. Mistrust (Birth - 18 months), Stage 2 - Autonomy vs. Shame and Doubt (19 months - 3years), Stage 3 Initiative vs. Guilt (3 years 6 years) and Stage 4-industry vs inferiority were discussed. The next hour was taught by Meekha teacher.It was our optional hour. She taught us about planning- unit and year plan in detail..The class was really informative.. Then Sr.Jomcy made her presentation of assignment. The last hour was taken by Dona teacher about emotional and spatial intelligence...

Today the first session was taught by Maya teacher. In this class we learnt about:- PHILOSOPHY FIELDS OF PHILOSOPHY AREAS OR PROBLEMS OF PHILOSOPHY - METAPHYSICS, EPISTEMOLOGY, AXIOLOGY.   Next session was taken by Revathy teacher. She taught us about computer simulation, blended learning etc. Then Joju sir gave us some informations about works to be done immediately such as online assignment and seminar presentation.            The next and last hour was our optional classe.The hour was dealt by Meekha teacher.Along with the class presentation of assignment by Veena was done.       

Another day of online class started at 9 am with a prayer. And Sathyalekha teacher discussed about the importance of classroom communication and it's components.It was really  informative and thoughtful. Later ,it was Gibi teacher started her class and discussed about  learning material- maxims of teaching, logical thinking and way of presentation.   She gave new knowledge and information. The last class was optional taught by Meekha teacher about planning which is an important skill inn teaching...Thus the day ends...            

    Thus after a long gap of online classes..Our college had started online classes from today onwards. The c lasses were from 9am -12.30pm.Todays time table were two  hours of General classes and one hour of optional class. First session was taken by Dona teacher. She taught us   'Intelligence test'   continuing the previous class.            The next hour were optional dealt by Meekha teacher..The last hour we had Philosophy class  taught by Shabana teacher about Dr.S. Radhakrishnan - about his life and his views on education. Thus the first day of online class ends..Offline classes are preferable than online because any destructions will not be there such as net issues..

Today it was our Assembly Day. The first Assembly in this new year. January 12, celebrated as National Youth Day and it is the birthday of Swami Vivekananda. The assembly was  led by Natural science optional. The arrangements were nice. Assembly was started with college anthem. Then there was a prayer song. After that there was news reading. Then importance of the day.   After that  Gibi teacher   published their logo "Horus"..Then, Greeshma explained about the logo.   The Natural science students donated books to the college library, Shiny teacher hand over it to Bindhu teacher. After that Gibi teacher conveyed a beautiful message. Today  in our optional class we had presentations. Vivek and Athira presented their topic beautifully.   Then the next sessions was handled by M.Ed interns..The class ended by afternoon because of spread of covid pandemic.Some of teachers and students were positive so as a precaution the class ended afternoon and decided th

Today first hour was free..We heard that it was strike day but classes were taught as normal working day. The next hour was taught by Dona teacher. She explained Guilfords model of communication. Then we had optional hours.. After the lunch sathyalekha teacher discussed about the barriers of communication.Next hour was handled by revathy teacher. She discussed the computers mediated communication. Then she gave an activity to differentiate CAI, CMI, CMC.Thus another day ends...

Today the first hour was taught by Sathyalekha teacher. The next hour was taken by revathy teacher. She discussed on the topic computer managed instruction and its characteristics.After the section was handled by Sathyalekha teacher. She discussed on classroom communication and its peculiarities. After noon section was taken by Dona teacher. She discussed on Thurstson's group factor theory which provided 7 primary mental abilities  and its applications. Then it was Shabana teachers hour she just relaxed our minds..Aami sang a beautiful song with her melodious voice touched our hearts.... Thus the day ends with an ease mind..

Today the class started with the optional hours..The first two hours was taught by Sathyalekha teacher. Next we had an interesting orientation section conducted by Reju sir on the topic "   Art and Aesthetic ".   It was really a fantastic section. Everyone enjoyed a lot. He entertained with lots of games. He engaged all in games no one was not stayed backward in that section.  Afternoon section was handled by M Ed student teachers. The first class was taken by Dona teacher. She discussed spearman's two factor theory. Next section was handled by shabana teacher. She taught about the different types of education.The next section was taken by Sathyalekha teacher. She discussed about  the topic secularism.According to the pluralistic view "Secularism is an attitude of accepting all religions rather than rejecting any or all religions". After that students watered the vegetable garden in the campus and went home..

Today first period in college started with yoga at college auditorium. Stephan sir taught us different postures of yoga . Second period was taken by M.Ed student named Revathy teacher taught us technology portion from unit 3.It was Computer Assisted Instruction(CAI) and it's different techniques and methods of delivery in detail. Then we had an optional hour dealt by Sathyalekha teacher. After lunch the M Ed  students internship continued. We  have the classes about intelligence, types of education, education and democracy by Dona teacher, Shabana  teacher and Sathyalekha teacher. And one more day ended beautifully...

Today first hour we have the class of  Maya teacher. Teacher taught us that "teaching is a combination of art and science" and also about paradigm shift.  Four student teachers from Department of Education Thycaud had join @ mttc for their internship today and they where Introduced by our dear principal and he also delivered a small speech..'Teachers are the nation builders'.. Then the student teacher self convey about them.    The next hour was taught by Jibi teacher about scope of educational psychology. After the lunch break we went to seminar hall and had the hour of Ancy teacher. Teacher taught us about the various aspects of developmental changes in infancy. The day ends with a new hope.

It is new beginning..new hopes..a wakeup from past..new decisions to future..       Happy New Year to All.... A wonderful day starts with a fresh mind..After the holidays came with a happiness to college as eager to meet friends and teachers.. Conversation with friends about the holidays and everyone's celebration on that days. Then it's time for class..The first hour was engaged by Meekha ma'am..Ma'am give a brief description about the works to be done which made the first day itself informative at the same time remided the responsibility to finish the works in time.The next hour was taught by Joju sir..The class itself begin with a new year message to warm our ideas.Then the class discussed about how to make a e-content..the process and tips..Then afternoon the class was dealt by Maya ma'am about the teacher competecy which was very informative..As the days ends with new information and decisions...
