Stories of MTTC

It was our first  Field trip   with MTTC Family to  Dr.Guru Gopinath Natanagramam .   We started our journey  in two buses, at 9.45 am with Principal's valuable message and a beautiful prayer. This institute provide training to different art forms including kerala Nadanam, light music etc. Also provide training for musical instruments such as tabla,veena etc. Major contribution of Guru Gopinath was the creation of modern dance style kerala Natanam from kathakali for better understanding to the ordinary people.         First was a class by Dr. Sajeev sir about the art form kerala Nadanam and also give a detailed description about Navarasas. Then we have a photo session of each optionals and in group.   We visited the dance museum. It provided a great experience to us. We can understood the different dance forms in an well explained manner. At last they  provided us an opportunity to see  a documentary on theyyam in 5D theatre that was a new experience for us.Then we had

      Today first hour we had yoga by Stephen Sir and taught us different postures of yoga. It refreshed our body and mind.Then we had the class of Joju Sir. Today English optionals presented their seminars on the topic " Cyber laws   and   Role of teachers in conscientizing about child abuse over internet".  They had done it very beautifully. Then we had optional hour.           After lunch , we had the class of Ancy Ma'am. Ma'am taught us about " Piaget's theory of intellectual development ".   Piaget's stages of development are as follows : * Sensory Motor Stage ( 0- 2 years )  *Pre operational Stage ( 2 -7 years ) *Concrete Operational Stage ( 7 -11 years ) *Formal Operational Stage ( 11 -adult )            Then we had the class of Maya teacher. Teacher divided us into group of 9 members and we discussed about the curriculum of realism and methods of teaching in realism.       Then last hour we had a test paper on physical

After five days of school induction program , today we returned back to our college. It was our assembly day which was conducted by M.Ed first year students.It was interesting that all the programs presented in malayalam. Assembly starts with prayer song followed by college anthem, Pledge, news reading and  thought for the day. As a part of our international seminar they prepared a theme song and presented it in the assembly.They conducted a game in the assembly   Pathirundo , translation of proverbs into Malayalam. It was fun filled game, students, teachers and principal all participated in the game.          After that we had a meeting to share our experience about the school induction program. One of the student from each group shared their experience about the induction program.After that Joju sir and Ancy ma'am  explained about our art and aesthetic visit. After lunch we had optional hour and we worked on works.

        The last and final day of school induction..As the annual day was scheduled virtually students were busy with it. We we're assigned to engage lower primary classes especially 1st and 2nd standard. We observed and interacted with students. I too took class on 2nd standard. Till afternoon we were supposed to do it. After we had lunch break and then we visited physical education room and other left things. Then we met our assigned teachers according to our optional and collected feedback from them. Then took photos with principal and assigned teachers.And then spent a few time there and left the school their blessings and the induction programme ends. Another beautiful day where the word teacher become more meaningful in my life. The five days was a great experience and beautiful days.

   The fourth day of induction was same as usual days started with prayer.Then we got the time table and utilized the time for observation. The students and teachers were very supportive. The offline mode of class almost started from this day. We get the opportunity to observe classes. It makes us to acquire the facts and ideas to be practised in a classroom. Therefore these days helped a lot experience to gain many ideas and reject the unnecessary things.It was a very beautiful experience and a wonderful day...

         The third day of our induction started with a prayer. As usual the day started with a morning prayer. Then we got the time table. Then we observed certain classes till afternoon. After that we had lunch and then we had classes as per the time table.We observed the 9th standard the class gone through both online and offline mode.The students were also very attentive. The classroom environment and atmosphere was very beautiful.Strictly followed the covid protocols.It was just another beautiful day....

    The second day we reported in time and we were allowed to observe the classes.The day started with a prayer. The time table assigned for us. Then we had observed two classes of 9th standard on this day.Both offline and online class we're handled by teachers. Some students were physically present and others attend the class in online mode. The classes were beautiful and it gave an clear idea. Then we visited different labs on this day. After the national anthem we left the school.    It was a beautiful day filled with lots of new experience and informations. We left the school after the classes school time..

First day in Navajeevan Bethany Vidyalaya..We are 15 members in group.I entered the school with anxiety as it was my first experience as a student teacher.Then we were supposed to seated in a room in conference Hall. We reported school at correct time.Then the day stated with a prayer. Then we met principal of the school Shahna Ma'am..She given some information and allowed us to visit the whole institution, buildings and all.Then we visited all building, classes,library, kintergarden section etc. Then we met our assigned teachers. As the day ends and we left the school.

      Today we started our journey with prayer. The first session was taken by Joju Sir. The seminar topics were continued by mathematics optional and English optional students.In the second session, Meekha Ma'am asked us to prepare a discussion lesson plan for which we were divided into four groups. We could write the lesson plan more effectively than what we expected.The group work was good.            Our College Union members were selected and a meeting was held.          In the afternoon session Gibi Ma'am explained the methods of psychology – introspection, observation, experimental method and case study. Ma'am then discussed with us a new topic –personality.         After that Maya ma'am gave us a detailed information about School Induction programme.      And at last then we had a meeting at auditorium.  Benedict sir introduced all our union members and officially announced the names of leaders and assistant leaders of each group in school induction programe and

February 14 Happy Valentine's Day.... Valentine's Day , also called  Saint Valentine's Day  or the  Feast of Saint Valentine ,  is celebrated annually on February 14.  It originated as a Christian  feast day  honoring one or two early  Christian martyrs  named  Saint Valentine  and, through later folk traditions, has become a significant cultural, religious, and commercial celebration of  romance  and  love  in many regions of the world.              Today first period was optional by Meekha ma'am.During the hour ma'am selected us for different clubs. Then ma'am divided us in to groups to make a lesson plan. Next hour was taught by Joju Sir. Sir give brief description about paper presentation in international conference.      After lunch break we had Gibi Ma'am. Ma'am  gave different activities for late comers.Then vivek explained about case study and Stijo explained about Introspection.Then Gibi maam and Joju Sir sang

Today first period was handled by Gibi Ma'am . Ma'am taught us about whole brain teaching . After that Ma'am divided us into five groups and gave different topics for discussion. Introspection Observation Experimental method Case Study Psycho analytic method       The next hour was handled by Reju Sir..It was filled with games and was interesting.                 After lunch break we had optional hour.In that hour we worked on the work content analysis..Thus another day ends...

Today first hour we had yoga class by Stephen Sir. Sir taught us about different aasanas and face yoga. It refreshed our body as well as our mind. The next hour dealt by Maya maam.Maam give the feedback of students who presented the seminars previous day.The next group of our class started presentation on the topic Ethinicity.  Then we had the class of Joju Sir. Today the remaining students of the Maths optional had completed their seminars on the topics :   Plagiarism Netiquette Hacking Phishing Software Piracy Copyright The last session was handled by Benedict Sir on classroom climate.After that Sir informed about different clubs and it's activities. 

           Today was our assembly day conducted by Physical Science optional.Assembly starts with prayer followed by college anthem, pledge and news reading. Their association logo  COSMOS  was revealed by Bindu ma'am. After the national anthem assembly was dismissed. They also gave the prizes for the Christmas day competition held before and as part of the coming 'International Day of Women in Science day' (Feb 11) they have conducted a small puzzle quiz too. The next hour was optional. Then we had class of Maya ma'am where our optional students presented had their seminar on the topic 'Characteristics of Indian society'.   Six of us presented seminar today.All of them  presented it beautifully. After lunch break we had physical education class..Sir taught about different types of exercises.

Today the class started with technology seminar presentation by Maths optional. First group presented about  Computer viruses and preventive measures.   They had presented it wonderfully. Second hour was was handled by Maya ma'am. Ma'am taught us about the methods of teaching in naturalism, naturalism and cultural practises in India, role of teacher in naturalism, it's merits and  demerits.  The next hour was optional. Meekha ma'am taught us about the lesson plan.After lunch break we had physical education.. The last hour dealt by Reju Sir art and aesthetics..full of fun and game..Thus another day ends..

Again back to college after a short break..Today first two hour was optional taught by Meekha ma'am. Then we had the class of Maya teacher. Teacher taught us about the aims of education in naturalism and curriculum in naturalism.  Autonomous development  Redirection of instincts  Struggle for existence and survival of the fittest  Development of natural man   Natural development of individuality              After lunch we had physical education period .During that period we played Shuttle, basket ball etc. Last hour we had the class of Benedict Sir. Sir taught us about " Teacher behaviour  " and  "  classroom climate " .

 Today the class started with the hour of Maya ma'am. Ma'am taught about the forms of Naturalism.          Next hour was taught by Ancy ma'am about the developmental tasks, hazards, nature of tasks.               The last hour was optional.In that  hour we had reading and reflection presentations. Drishya and Dr.Jomcy took the presentations on  the novels ' Great  Expectations' by Charles Dickens and  'Sangati' by Bama Faustina Soosairaj respectively .

The day started with Physical Education class. George sir asked us about the thoughts that come to our mind when we hear the word Physical Education many responses came from students . Then we learnt more about Physical education it's importance and needs. Second hour was handled by Gibi ma'am.Yhe class started with prayer.We discussed about one of the Methods Gibi Ma'am gave us an activity to self analyse our own mind and mental process. Few among us shared their characteristics and this activity helped us to understand ourselves.          Third hour was optional dealt by Meekha ma'am. She taught about the lesson plan.

           A new day, new beginning..welcoming February.. Thus another month starts.. Waiting for new responsibilities and works. The mode of online class continues...         Day started with Maya ma'am class  about the Naturalism school of philosophy. It is interesting and informative class..She played a song w hich is very familiar to us, to think what is the process takes place in the nature.Nature is the ultimate reality, according to Naturalism.         Next hour taught by Gibi ma'am about the schools of psychology.     It includes structuralism, functionalism, school of psychoanalysis, Behaviourism, Gestalt psychology etc .        Third hour dealt by Joju sir.Sir taught about Dale cone of experiences. Sir also played a video for getting an idea about multimedia content.It was a effective and interactive class.
